Many developers are aware of the Omnis Data Bridge (for Omnis datafiles) and the ODBC Data Bridge (which provides macOS clients with access to Windows ODBC drivers). We have also been working on a Sybase Data Bridge, primarily intended for macOS clients. This allows the client machine to connect to Sybase databases using the Sybase DAM in the absence of Sybase(SAP) Open Client (because Open Client currently isn’t available for macOS). Instead, Sybase Open Client and the Sybase Data Bridge are installed on a separate Windows 32-bit PC and the connection from the DAM is routed through to the database via the Sybase Data Bridge. It is a little slower than a direct connection via the client library but otherwise solves the Mac connection issue.
