    Hello,
    A menu1 cascades a menu2
Why when I click line 1 of the menu2, the procedure of line 1 of the menu1 is executed?
    thank you

The code worked very well with studio 5.2. It no longer works with 8.0.3. I check by recoding for a test directly in version 8.0.3:

    Menu1: name Test1, Default Attributes
Line 1: Code: OK Message “Line 1 of Test1”
Line 3 of the menu1: cascade Menu2, no code

    Menu2: name Test2, Default Attributes
Line 1: Code: Ok message “Line 1 of Test2”

When I click on line 1 of menu2 (cascade), I get the message “Line 1 of Test1”

I am not sure what is going wrong at your place. I created a test library based on you description and got it working. I have uploaded this to GitHub. Maybe you can figure out with this library what is going on.

    Thank you for your reply,

I have included your menus in my library and the problem persists.

Noting that, I test in the windows 10 environment, and it works correctly.
So the problem exists only under macOS.

Problem Omnis 8.0.3 with MacOS ?

I am under macOS 10.12.4, but I just tested on an old Mac under MacOS 10.11.8 and I have the same problem.

I created a new library very simple that does not work with me under macOS 10.12.4, studio 8.0.3
I do not understand, I never had this problem in version 5.2.

    Hi Jacques,

We have reproduced your problem here at Omnis and have raised fault ST/MC/242 for investigation.

It appears to only occur when the menu is on a window class and not when installed on the main Omnis menu bar.

    Thanks,
    Rod
