Several beta-testers of the new Omnis Developer site have requested that we add email notifications for all group and forum activity, so we have added this. To test this feature fully (or to distraction some would say…), we have enabled the ‘All emails’ option, for all members for all groups. This post is posted in the ‘How to use this community site’ group to test that all members get the email notification. If you wish to change your email notification status, you will need to log into the portal and change your settings (under Profile>Groups) – do this for each group you are a member of – sorry for the initial inconvenience for having to do this and we really appreciate you trying this new feature.
And the observant among you will notice the ‘Omnis general’ group has been deleted – apologies again for this if you joined this group. We felt the group name or topic overlapped a with the main forum on the site and the Omnis News group, so seemed unnecessary.
